Dear Brandon:

I just wanted to write you a note and thank you for efforts in bringing two outstanding individuals to Tampa Bay Trane as we begin our performance contracting activities. While your fees are substantial, I feel that your efforts to locate, qualify, market the position, and interface as a third party in the finalization process brought value to the process well in excess of your monitory charges.

Performance contracting is a new arena for all of us and your past personnel placement experience was extremely valuable in providing guidance to the type of person that, in fact, we were looking for. In addition to detailing the qualification, you then were able to deliver a number of highly qualified candidates. One of the key values that you provided was the pre-selling that you did with the candidates prior to my discussions with them. In almost every case I had a whole lot less work to do in selling The Trane Company and Tampa Bay Trane than I had experienced in the past both with a recruiter and without a recruiter. I found your constant follow-up to be extremely helpful moving the process along. As you know, there are a number of other items on my agenda everyday, and keeping the recruiting activities in the forefront was important to insure we met our deadlines.

The first individual we hired I handled the offer letter in the manner in which I was accustomed to from my past dealings. I sent the offer letter directly to the candidate and negotiated the details with him. The second individual was a far more challenging candidate, and you suggested that I send you the offer letter and that you would use that as a part of our negotiating efforts. This proved to be an excellent strategy in the 2-1/2 months that we worked to obtain a final commitment from the individual. The fact that you held the offer letter proved to be an invaluable part of the process. When we were finally able to work through the details, you acted as a neutral third party negotiating n behalf of both the candidate and Tampa Bay Trane to come to a mutually satisfactory and acceptable agreement.

Again, Brandon, I wanted to thank you for your efforts, I feel that you did an outstanding job of locating these two talented individuals, and also enabled me to obtain the services of the two top individuals I was seeking. Your constant follow-up and good natured encouragement made the process pleasurable.

Again, your fees are substantial. Perhaps the nicest thing I can say to you is that "you’re worth it".

Yours truly,

Douglas B.Cohn
